Knauf Insulation Plant Tour - LEED Gold Building
Wednesday, April 21st
As part of the April 21st USGBC Indiana program, Knauf Insulation is offering a free tour of their Shelbyville plant. This will afford attendees an exciting opportunity to get an inside look at the manufacturing process of Knauf Insulation. This will require an earlier arrival (4:00 PM) to accommodate the program meeting agenda.
Plant tour information is as follows:

Directions to get to the corporate parking lot:
- Take I-74E to Exit 113 – Shelbyville / State Road 9 exit
- Go south to 2nd stoplight, turn left
- Go to 1st road on the left to corporate parking lot
Please note that this event can only accommodate the first 80 registrants.
Notice to Registrants
Those attending the plant tour just prior to the meeting at Knauf Insulation are advised that there are requirements that must be complied with from a safety and security standpoint.
- No open toe shoes, no running or tennis shoes
- Shoes must be practical for walking on open grid flooring, hence no high heeled shoes
- All visitors will be required to sign a secrecy agreement
- No cameras are allowed inside the plant
- Cell phones must be off and pocketed
